Hannah Makin, MSc, MBPsS, MPNLP, GQHP

Psychologist, NLP Master Practitioner and Hypnotherapist
During the past 17 years,  I have worked for Macmillan Cancer Care, Hospice Care, Magic Carpet, The Rose Road Association and other charitable organisations whose focus is providing care and support for people who face physical and psychological difficulties.  I decided to dedicate the direction of my private practice work to the area of psychological health and well being as people so often seem to suffer a lack of resources and support to move forward psychologically in mainstream health care. I currently work within the NHS alongside my private practice

I originally specialised in cancer care, and have since worked with clients to overcome psychological barriers within chronic illness, smoking, terminal illness, alcoholism, depression, over eating, anxiety, Limiting beliefs, postnatal-depression, low self-esteem, dysfunctional relationships, low motivation, physical disability, sexual  health.

I am an empathetic psychologist who uses Hypnotherapy and Neuro-linguistic Programming as my primary approach.

My clients encompass adults and young people from all walks of life who have struggled to find effective support else where, and most importantly, have yet to be provided with the tools to pro actively turn their lives around and instigate positive changes in their state of mind.

Through sensitivity and understanding I support and guide my clients to fulfilling their psychological strengths permanently.
